Recipients of scholarships from the Emmet Pyatt Foundation will attend
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic High School in Vancouver, Washington.
Seton’s Vision: “Seton Catholic will be a learning community that instills in our students a desire to learn, serve, grow and thrive spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically in a community that welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds.”
The School opened in September of 2009 with 30 freshman and 12 sophomores. In 2010-2011, they added juniors for a total of 82 students. Then, in 2011-2012, the student body totaled 120 and had its first graduating class (16 students). The enrollment is presently at 185 students.
With the rate of growth beyond what was anticipated, Seton Catholic built a new school. Seton’s new home is located on 12 acres at the northwest corner of Northeast 89th Street and Northeast 64th Avenue (across from the Costco on NE Andresen Road). This new campus opened in the fall of 2016. The football/soccer turf field was completed in the summer of 2017. The track is due to be completed and ready for track in February 2018. Once all phases of construction are complete, Seton will have a student capacity of around 500.
